Meet the baker!
The pandemic of 2020 created a lot of change in many people’s lives, including that of the founder of this homebased business. Two years ago, I was a web and graphic designer working on setting up my own marketing company and focused on building a professional network to continue doing that. Then the world flipped on its head and I became a stay-at-home, homeschool mom to four boys. In September, 2020, my now husband and I got married and honeymooned in Disney World, where I tried my first macaron in a French cafe in Epcot. I was hooked. I came home and immediately started working to perfect this difficult dessert, and found that I was pretty good at it. After about eight months of tweaking and practice, I’ve gotten it down to a science. Enter Bake My Day. Now I bake about 80 cookies per day in between football, baseball, and basketball practices, and sell them to whoever would like to try them! I’m always eager to come up with new recipes to try and new flavors to experiment with (some coming out perfectly and some being quietly “disposed of” by my family without a complaint).
